Canadian Women Settle Transvaginal Mesh Lawsuit

If you’ve been investigating options to eliminate Stress Urinary Incontinence, you may have come across the Transvaginal Mesh.  A Pelvic Floor Mesh or Transvaginal Mesh is the typical recommended surgical solution.  A small piece of mesh is inserted through the vagina and sewn into pelvic floor ligaments and vaginal tissue.  This option is a minor surgery with high success rates.  On the other hand, many women suffer severe complications and have filed lawsuits against manufacturers.  One such suit was recently settled in Canada, as the manufacturer agreed to settle “without admission of liability or wrongdoing”.
